“Listen. Be aware that you can learn from everyone.”

Drawing on her journalism background, Kate decided to launch a new podcast called “The Pivotal Moment - with Kate Broug”. Now with tens of thousands of subscribers, she publishes a podcast interview each month with a successful female entrepreneur and thought leader. They discuss their successes and mistakes and explore the challenges and barriers they have had to overcome.

Through the podcast, Kate hopes to inform, inspire and hopefully mentor the next generation of female business leaders. Each episode has an average length of at least 30 minutes and focuses on one successful female business owner’s life and work.

Among other trailblazing women, Kate recently interviewed Ilyasah Shabazz, daughter to cultural figures Malcolm X and Betty Shabazz, along with Elaine Kwon, a Carnegie Hall concert pianist, MIT lecturer, and business founder and Kit Kemp MBE, founder and Creative Director of the Firmdale Hotels.
