Aviator
Kate Broug is an FAA-licensed pilot with a Private Pilot License (PPL) and an Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) rating, currently working toward her Commercial Pilot’s License (CSEL). Her passion for aviation was sparked during her first trip to Bhutan, where she experienced the thrill of landing at Paro—one of the world’s most challenging airports. Witnessing the skill, focus, and discipline of the pilot, Kate was inspired to pursue flying herself.
As an aviator, Kate Broug is a proud member of The Dutch Study Group Dutch Air War, Stearman Restorers Association, The Commemorative Air Force, The Association of Professional War Birds Operators (APWO), and EEA Warbirds of America, organizations that celebrate aviation history and preservation. She also owns and flies a WWII-era Boeing Stearman, a vintage biplane that reflects her deep appreciation for aviation heritage.
Kate’s journey in aviation is fueled by a relentless curiosity and dedication, both in the cockpit and beyond.
